Type-In Name
Type in Name Overview
• Freeform, Type in Name Traveler – Arranger makes reservation
– No direct access to OFB themselves and no profile info retained in OFB
– Bookings made by an authorized (profiled) Travel Arranger
– Policy and FOP is that of the authorized Travel Arranger
– Travel Arranger must ask traveler for TSA required information to book travel
– Travel Arranger must ask for and then enter loyalty information
– All typein name traveler trips and unused tickets reside in Travel Arranger’s profile
– Travel is available in reporting but captures the Travel Arranger’s information and reporting fields

Type in Name – Change Traveler
• Click Change Traveler
• Select “Type in the name”
• Enter name exactly as it matches the government issued ID used for travel
• Click “Change

Type in Name – TSA Requirements
• Solicit and enter Gender and Date of birth
• Click “Continue”

Type in Name – Traveler Information
• Enter Traveler preferences, flight status alerts, and email notifications

Type in Name – Form of Payment
• Use Travel Arranger’s FOP or enter of FOP in “Provide billing information section

Type in Name – Reporting Information
(Trip Reference Fields)
• The Travel Arranger’s reporting information will automatically populate in the “reference information” section.
• Complete any other required reporting information
• Complete the booking

Type in Name – Travel Arranger’s My Trips
• The “type-in name” trip will appear on the Travel Arranger’s homepage and on the Travel Arranger’s “My Trips” tab.
