Oracle Management Agent:
• Must be installed on each managed host
• Must be in its own ORACLE_HOME (unless using

Managing Very Large Grids
The Grid Control framework uses the Oracle 10g
technology stack. For large grids with many
administrators, the Grid Control framework scales well.
• Oracle Management Repository can be installed in a
Real Application Cluster.
• OMS can take advantage of Oracle Application Server
10g clustering.

High Availability Configurations
The architecture for deploying Grid Control in a highly
available fashion is based on two key concepts:

• Component monitoring
