The whole family are very busy lately, because my mother is going to have a baby. “Congradulation!” Everyone says that to me. I don’t know if there is anything to be happy about. But I am sure “the baby” might not be anything good. Mom’s tommy is getting bigger and bigger. It happened that one day after the ninth month… Mom and dad went to the hospital and stayed there for several days. When they came back, there is a “sister” in Mom’s arms. “Jenny, want to touch Jana? ”Dad says. When I just raise my hand, she starts crying. “What a naughty!” I think . I didn’t sleep well last night, since Jana Kept crying. It drove me crazy. Why didn’t mom get upset? She is unable to go to the toilet herself, and has to wear diapers. “What a shame!” I murmur to myself. I sit side by side with Mom and ask her “Was I like her when I was so little?” “Of course.” Mom replies. “Everyone is ignorant at that age and needs parents’ care. The next day I go to Jana’s room in the morning and play blocks with her. While we are playing together, I find that Jana isn’t so unpleasant any more” English Drama Show Rehearsing Episode of Romeo & Juliet The characters are ready to play Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet Count down …3, 2, 1. Camera! The director is shouting out his commands to everyone. Our Roemo and Juliet Nothing can stand between them. They decide to elope and ask for the blessing of a preacher. The preacher bids them his best wish. The director’s girl friend interrupts the rehearsing and ask him to let her play the heroine’s role. He is so unreasonable and illogical; he is also very charming and beautiful, isn’t he. Doubt not. He is a boy. The outcome is a mess of happy ending but not a disaster. The Bad Tempered Ladybird Revised from Eric Carl’s Picture Book It is about a bad tempered ladybird’s one-day journey of learning to behave himself. The journey begins from six o’clock in the morning and ends at six o’clock in the evening. The bad tempered ladybird meets various kinds of animals right at each hour. The first words he speaks out is “Hey you, want to fight?” No one is afraid of his offensive manners, and responds with stronger defiance. At 5 o’clock, he meets the biggest creature on earth: the blue whale. It takes him 45 minutes to fly from the whale’s head to its tail. The bad tempered ladybird shouts at everything that can move, even the whale’s flipper, fin, and tail. Do you know how big is the blue whale? Do you know what is the whale’s response to the bad tempered ladybird’s rude attitude? Finally, he learns his lesson and know the meaning of friendship and sharing. I Wish I Were a Butterfly Revised from James Howe’s Picture Book It is about a little cricket’s quest for his own value. All the characters are from the same class. They also present a beautiful song in the glory of all mighty God before the show. Students’ parents help make the costumes. The confidentless cricket and his mother who encourages him to explore the world. The cricket’s companies play outside happily. The unconfident cricket meets a caterpillar. Then he meets a beetle. Do you know what happened when he gets to the riverside. Here comes a dragonfly. There is also an old tree by the river. The unsure cricket notices the web in the tree. A friendly spider appears from its web. The spider assures the timid cricket about the meaning of each creature’s existence. They look into the water and ponder on what they see.
