Task
• Choose a production animal to create a 3D
skeletal system of.
• Examine skeletal drawings (textbook, copy from
internet, etc.) looking at multiple views
• Evaluate provided pasta shapes
• Construct frame of the animal making it as
lifelike and comprehensive as possible.
• Label skeletal structure
Basic Scoring Guide
• Correctness of Form (does it resemble your
animals skeletal system/shape?)
– Keep in mind proportion and SCALE
– Examine the flexibility of the species
• Bone Mastery – label at least 20 different
bones and the 6 regions of the skeleton
• Show creativity and eye appeal
• Show stability in your skeleton (it should
support its self)
