knowledge around disability

BDSA HISTORY

Founded 1998 by a diverse group, unified
by an aim to promote disability sport in
Bolton

2008 Audit by Bolton Short Breaks Aiming
High Team highlighted keen interest in
sport by young disabled people,
especially in school holiday periods

In response Bolton Disability Sports
Association began to offer holiday sports
provision to young disabled people in
2009; this has since expanded to include
adults and non-disabled siblings
