Who we are?
WE ARE YOUNG ACTIVE CITIZENS CREATING POSITIVE CHANGE!
JCI - a membership-based nonprofit organization of 200,000 young
people ages 18 to 40 in 5,000 communities and more than 100
countries around the world;
JCI Romania - founded in 2003, 16 Local Organizations;
JCI Cluj-Napoca - founded in 2008, 40 members.

- started in 2008 by JCI Bucharest;
- 2 editions organized by JCI Cluj-Napoca since 2009.
Past issues
- lack of interest by the participants;
- lack of partners;
- no follow-up.

Why?
- initiated by young entrepreneurs for future young entrepreneurs;
- we help young people to learn what they need to become
successful entrepreneurs;
- we help young people to overcome fear of failure and
procrastination;
- we share our past milestones and how we passed them.

When?
I. Trainings (17th, 21st, 24th, 28th, 31st October 2011)
- form based registration by October 14th;
- maximum 150 participants;

II. Mentoring (November 11th - December 16th 2011)
- local successful entrepreneurs: Marcel ANGHEL, Eusebiu BURCAS, Razvan
CUC, Lorand SOARES-SZASZ, etc.
- maximum 10 participants/teams selected by a jury after analyzing their
business plan drafts submitted by November 6th 2011;
- 1 on 1 meetings in which the mentor helps the mentee to develop a business
plan in order to start the business as soon as possible.

Funding
- sponsors (Microsoft, NOKIA, Banca Transilvania, Delloite, SIEMENS, Post
Privatization Foundation, Vodafone, Oracle, citibank, BCR); - to be confirmed - we are also seeking partnerships with organizations involved in
entrepreneurial programs that could help fund our project.
Promotion
- partnerships with: student organizations, universities , local and regional
authorities, business associations, media organizations, bloggers, etc.
