In this context, we support the applications for SEN Pathfinder status from Manchester, Oldham/Rochdale, Trafford and Wigan.
These authorities have committed to work together across a range of areas to be tested and to share outcomes and learning with all GMCA councils.’

• Introduce greater independence into the assessment process by using the voluntary sector
• Demonstrate value for money, by looking at the cost of reform and associated benefits

Manchester Vision:
• The Manchester Pathfinder is focused on young people in transition aged 14-25.
• Our vision is to create a single, person centred, aspirational Education, Health and Care plan for all eligible young people, with flexible funding to deliver the plan.
• The plan will be holistic, based on choices from the whole range of options, including employment, leisure and independent living.
