Situation: Join and Quit messages clutter the channel windows. Changing their color to make
It invisible helps, but leaves large blank sections of the screen which is still undesirable.
Solution: Configure mIRC to display these messages in the status window instead of the channel
Window.
1) Select “Tools” then “Options” from pull down menus
2) Click “Events” button
3) Change all options to read “In Status”
except Nicks which doesn’t have that
option.
