What does the word promenade mean?
Do you remember what timbre means?
Example: the clarinet has a distinct sound.
Each instrument family sounds a certain way.
Solos (one) sound different than tutti (all).
Listen for:

Remember, solo means that the instrument is played by
itself, or with the rest of the orchestra playing softly.
What groups of instruments did you hear?
Remember the instrument families, woodwind, brass,
strings, and percussion.
What instrument family didn’t you hear?
Were there any singers?
