Hypothesis I think that lemon juice would have the greater effect on the apples because it’s sourness of the lemon juice would have more effect on the different types of apples. material 3 different apples 6 bowls ¾ CUPS of salt water ¾ CUPS of lemon juice Measuring cup camera Procedures Get three bowls and use the measuring cup to measure about ¾ CUPS of salt water and lemon juice. 2. cut the 3 different apples in two slices each drop one of them in each bowl at the same time with your partners help. 3. put the bowls in the same place stay for about 4-5 days make sure you check it every day or 4-5 hours and write the response. 4. Take pictures of the activity from the time you put the apple in to the time you took them out to examine them. 5. Make a chart and write what you saw or how much dehydration. 1. conclusion Salt water had the greater effect because when you added all the rates the salt water was 95% greater dehydration than the lemon juice.
