Telling Time on the Hour
On a clock, the short hand tells the hour and the long hand tells the minutes.
When the minute hand is on the 12, the time is said to be o’clock.
The hour hand is on the 2, and the minute hand is on the 12.

Telling Time on the Half Hour
When the minute hand is on the 6, the time is half past the hour. The time
