Application form tips
• Word limit. Each question has a word limit (typically up to

Situational Judgement Test
• A Situational Judgement Test (SJT) an online tool to select
potential candidates within high volume roles.
• You'll be presented with a scenario which reflects a realistic
workplace situation that would expect to find in the BBC.
You’ll then need to select, through multiple choice, what
you feel is the best and worst response to effectively
resolve the situation. It will provide you with a taste of
what it might be like to work in the BBC on the JTS.
• There is no time limit and the test forms part of the
application form through Careers Hub.
Verbal Reasoning Test
• WHY? - Assesses your ability to understand written
passages and to evaluate the logic of different types
of question
• WHO? - You’ll be asked to register and will be emailed
a username and password.
• HOW? - It’s a timed test - you can take it once only.
(Let us know before you if you normally get more time
for such activities)
• WHAT? - Right or wrong answers - work quickly and
accurately
Goodbye and good luck
