• You are the organizer of a business trip to Costa Rica.
You are responsible for organizing the cultural/fun aspect of the trip.
• You will plan a 3 day trip.
• 1 day you must plan activities in San Jose. Minimum of
2 places or activities.
• The other 2 days you choose where in the country you want to take people.

• We will present each to the class and the class will vote on the best. Winner gets a free 100 on a quiz or homework grade. (Costa Rica quiz next week)

• Pick 6 places/locations to talk about. (These are the blue captions)
• Write the location in Spanish, and summarize the location in English. Does not have to be word for word.
Just explain the key points. Cant just be a few words.
• Each location should come with a drawing. Do your best and be creative.
• On the front of the pamphlet write Costa Rica and draw the flag. If you don’t color your pictures you get a
50!

• Imagine you are with a friend who lives in San José. He/She spent all day yesterday taking you to places in the city. Write a letter in English to a friend or a blog describing:
– 3 or 4 places you went
• what you liked/didn’t like about them
– 3 things you you ate
– what the weather is like
– 3 things you are still planning to do and why.
• Use info you learned in this chapter & personal research
