Propaganda
 Propaganda is generally an appeal to
emotion, not intellect.
 It shares techniques with advertising, but
more typically refers to political or
nationalist uses.

one's cause or to damage an opposing cause.
 In general propaganda has a negative
perception except when used for the
purpose of providing public information.
