Some Sources from Auraria Library Research Steps Before you start the actual research • Get a Pen or pencil and • Paper, tablet, or index cards then • A computer Thinking About Your Research • Take 10 minutes to think about what you want to research. • The following diagram guides you through a the first steps of research. • This isn’t an quick endeavor. Basically, you could keep refining your topic until the time you start to write.
