Existing streets available
to bicyclists
Existing and proposed onstreet bicycle facilities
Existing and proposed offstreet bicycle facilities
Most of the facilities are on-street, but that does
not satisfy the desires of all bicyclists.
Bicycle Solutions in Sacramento
The approach the City of Sacramento will be taking
is to provide for all its users, from “eight to eighty.”
Bicycle Solutions in Sacramento
• Emphasis on new kinds of facilities that will encourage
the “interested but concerned” population.
• Continue to provide the facilities that existing bicyclists
have come to expect and appreciate.
