inspired by a course competency.

● Course competency - “Analyze the impact of
tourism on the society of a destination.”

practices, maintaining host culture of a

● Semester-long project with individual
meetings with instructor to discuss progress.

The owner of any copyrighted material has the exclusive right to create derivative works based on
their creation. Derivative works include the reuse of characters, plots, situations, photos, and
artwork. Technically, even if you are only making one copy of a derivative work that is not
intended for sale or distribution, you must obtain permission from the copyright owner. It's still
copyright infringement even if you give attribution to your sources. Will you get sued? Probably
not, but to be safe, you should create your own original artwork or only use things that are in
the public domain or licensed for reuse.
