After navigating to the Jobsearch user login
page: http://jobsearch.uncg.edu/hr
you will see this login screen.
Enter your Username
and your Password, then click Login
If you have forgotten your password click
here to request a password reset.
Postings can also be accessed from the
Postings tab and selecting EPA
Select the posting by clicking on the Job Title here in your Inbox.
If you selected EPA from the Postings tab, you will see a listing of all postings you have
created as a Hiring Assistant or have access to. Click either the Position Number or
Functional Title to access the posting.
Be very careful to choose the correct Hiring
Proposal link here.
Click on Start EPA “Non Faculty” Hiring Proposal
OR Start EPA “Faculty” Hiring Proposal.
Click on Start EPA “Non Faculty” Hiring Proposal to continue.
OR
Click on Start EPA Faculty Hiring Proposal to continue.
The candidate’s contact information is automatically imported from their application.
The Job Title is automatically imported from
the Posting information. It can be changed if
needed.
If the Job Title is changed, enter the
justification for the change here.
Enter the Proposed Hire Date.
In the Justification for Hire box,
indicate why this person was
selected instead of other individuals
being considered for the position. Be
specific in terms of the established
qualifications for the position.
Enter the expected salary range which may be
offered to the candidate in the Proposed Salary
Range box.

HR Compensation
After the area approvals are completed, HR Comp then reviews the
Initial Hiring Proposal.
It is at this stage the HR Comp Manager is:
• EPA NF hiring salary proposals will normally be approved by HR
Comp/Gwen Evans within 24 hrs on a business day,
• EXCEPT for salaries requiring BOG pre-approval
• Check for equity, if applicable
• Check to see if external or internal candidate. If internal
candidate, check to see if increase is 10% or higher.
• Competencies are not required for EPA-NF positions.
University Affirmative Action Officer
Once the Human Resources Compensation Manager
transitions the initial Hiring Proposal to the University
Affirmative Action Officer, the AA Officer then:
• Reviews the notes listed in the History by the HR Comp
Manager, then reviews the justification of the selected
finalist and the Not Selected Reasoning of those that were
Interviewed and Not Selected.
• The Salary is also approved again at this stage.

Human Resources
• Once the HP has reached the HP–Final workflow state and has
been approved by a Budget office, an HR Administrator will then
transition the HP to Approved.
• An email will also be sent notifying the HA that the Non–Faculty
HP has been approved and that a list of documents will need to
be submitted to HR;

Hiring Proposal Approved
• IMPORTANT: Before HR can designate this POSTING as filled, all
remaining Active applicants must be given a Not Selected Status AND
reason.
• Human Resources completes administrative functions, enters data
and marks the posting as filled.
• Once the posting is marked as filled, any applicants assigned to the
status of Email Later will be emailed and informed that the position
has now been filled.
• Applicants will be able to view their status of their application as well,
and they will see that their status has been changed to Not Hired.
