Professional development in GRR & small group instruction Professional development and use of Access test scores and “Can Do” descriptors Develop and use a common vocabulary. Use “Extend the Sort” tips on building vocabulary in word study literacy Provide interventions within the workshop structure Use data to identify the students in need of intervention. Collaboration time allotted for data driven discussions and problem-solving related to student response to instruction. Collaborative meetings available with reading specialist to discuss progress and create instructional plans. Teachers who are in the evaluation cycle for the Effectiveness Project should have one artifact showing how they are using technology to enhance instruction.
