since 02.2004
With STEP 7 V5.4 we have some new functions as
 Access protection on projects: Protected projects can be
opened by authorized users only.
SIMATIC Logon has to be installed on the programmer.
 SIMATIC Manager: Format for Date and Time can be
selected
 CAx-Data Export/Import for CAx Systems with XML format
(e.g. for CAD- or CAE-Systems)
 HW-Konfig: Read or write of data for the identification of
a module
 PROFINET IO: IRT Extensions
