Mathematics General 1 – How
difficult is it?

This is the simplest of the Maths courses

Involves REAL WORLD activities and tasks

There IS a yearly exam in year 12, but NO
HSC EXAM


Helps to manage finances and interpret daily statistics
and graphs. Aids with using maths in everyday life

Can assist with studying VET courses and some
humanities, or working in these areas, e.g. as a chef,
mechanic, any trade.

Can count towards a TAFE course after the HSC

situations.

Aimed at students from all classes.

Requires a good knowledge of year 10 maths

