 Provided on – site support for technology subject advisors

Assisted curriculum officials of technology in the
development of materials at three levels
Coordinated interested partners to participate in the TISP
program
Materials developed were used to orientate natural sciences
and technology Intermediate Phase ( Grade 4-6) subject
advisors
Highlights of the project
 The project has been well received by the Department
of Basic Education
 Participating partners are committed
 The participants come with a wealth of experience and
knowledge
 The materials produced are of high quality and
complies to South African curriculum requirements
 The materials gradually introduced learners to the
demand of the world of work

Finalization of Memorandum of Understanding between IEEE (
TISP) with the Department of Basic Education
Rally for extra resources ( toolkits) to ensure smooth
implementation of the curriculum
Plan for the on site support of schools
Develop Technology DVD in all eleven language
Olympiad and Expo Exhibition, currently focus is mostly Science
and Mathematics , not country phenomena but international
With the integration of Science and Technology in the
Intermediate Phase (grade 4 – 6 ) the Exhibition will be helpful
Participating in Community of Practice ( TISP) internationally
