This course aims to provide students with the opportunity to take part in a professional work environment. * Obtain a general view of the work environment, * Apply the knowledge and experience gained during their courses to real life problems. * Exposed to educational topics in technology, both from the technology development and teaching perspective, * Identify learning objectives in order to effectively utilize remaining education. This thirty day training period is undertaken during the summer break following the successful completion of the third year. • Summer Training is: – a non-credit course offered during every fall semester – an important part of CTE Curriculum – a graduation requirement Danger! If you do not complete your ST before you complete your courses, you will not be able to graduate on time and will have to register for an additional semester. You have to complete your ST before you start your master courses!! Objectives of ST • • • • To take part in the business world and understand the requirements, To apply the knowledge and experience related with programming and/or computer environment gained during the first three year to a real life problem, To obtain a general view of the industry needs To learn about or experiment with various software/hardware, especially those which are not present in the curriculum.
