Budget) Q&A Session Next Steps Background to Initiative • • • • Building Capabilities for Impact and Legacy Support for below the radar groups Pilot in five areas Fair & equal access to support & funding Aims of ABA • Support and strengthen below the radar frontline organisations (FLOs) against a background of increased uncertainty and growing demand • Increase & develop our learning on how to build capacity and capabilities for FLOs • Support fair and equal access to funding and support • Combine local and national support for FLOs in these areas • Test the market to see if the need for this support is there Overview of Deliverables • Selection of suitable providers locally and nationally to deliver required support to FLOs • Menu of support services • Diagnostic and signposting service • Voucher scheme • System for customer reviews • Evaluation Customer Experience of ABA FLO sees opportunity to apply for ABA funding FLO applies for ABA funding - Application will consist of standard light touch form and diagnostic as designed by the service provider Decision making held bi-monthly (The Fund retains decision making power) Successful FLOs awarded amounts via the service provider, for example in the form of vouchers to purchase support from support providers FLO chooses appropriate supplier from the Service Provider directory Supplier carries out required work in response to diagnostic and assessment feedback Customer Experience of ABA (continued) FLO embeds learning within organisation and completes monitoring The service provider assesses monitoring information FLO with increased capability is tracked to review what they do next, e.g. access other funding opportunities and other support.
