甚麼是文化管理?
•文化管理是一門相對嶄新的學科，探究在
現代都市生活與消費中, 文化兼具商品與
服務的角色，如何透過有效的管理，更能
發揮文化的意義和價值，提升人們的生活
及有利政府的施政。
文化管理為甚麼重要?
•隨著文化在全球的發展，以及文化對經濟
及政策的影響，國際社會均關注到創意及
知識型經濟，在二十一世紀有賴文化及創
意產業作為發展及增長的動力。過去十年
，世界各地紛紛發展各類型的文化基建，
如文化設施、場地等硬件，其中包括香港
正籌建中的西九文化區。因此，我們亟需
培育新一代文化“軟件”，為管理各類文
化項目及計劃培訓人力及專才。
文化管理要培養怎樣的學生?
•文化管理文學士課程旨在孕育及培訓新一
代文化領袖與調和者，他們能擔任社會的
先鋒去詮釋、界定、溝通以及捍衞不同的
文化。本課程的畢業生應兼備欣賞與尊重
不同文化的胸襟及識見，並能以國際視野
推動本地的文化及發展。
課程目標
–提供跨學科學習（人文藝術及工商管理兩個領域的科
目）
–訓練學生成為文化及人文藝術領袖
–培訓學生擁有廣泛的專業知識，使他們能夠在博物館
、美術館、劇院及音樂廳等藝術場所擔任行政和管理
職位
–栽培學生具備國際視野，掌握新領域文化研究及發展
的基礎知識
–培育學生對文化及人文藝術的批判和欣賞能力，並瞭
解香港及內地的文化歷史及遺產
–協助學生面對香港及內地文化發展的重大挑戰，使他
們將來能參與制定文化及發展政策
