1991/92 - the Jessenius Faculty of Medicine as the first one in SR
offered study of General Medicine in English for international students
27. 6. 1997 - graduation ceremony of the first international
graduates studying General Medicine in English.

GENERAL MEDICINE STUDY PROGRAM
Teaching for international students is carried out in English language.
Curriculum for international students is identical with curriculum
for Slovak students.
In accordance with Directive 2005/26/EEC, Chapter III, Article 24
the length of study is 6 years and comprises of 5,500 hours of
theoretical and practical training.
Both Slovak and English courses follow the European Credit Transfer
System (ECTS).
