ALTERNATE ASSESSMENT & ACCOUNTABILITY FOLDER AAAF NEW THIS YEAR The Evidence of Instruction WILL NOT be a required piece of the AAAF this year. The Evidence of Instruction consisted of one of the following: Instructional Planning Tool, Lesson Plan, or an Instructional Summary. KDE does encourage districts to continue to ask for some sort of evidence within the district to make sure instructional alignment to the standard is occurring. The Instructional Planning Tool is a great resource to do this. INSTRUCTIONAL PLANNING TOOL The Instructional Planning Tools were developed by the Division of Learning Services and will still be available on the Low Incidence page for support. They can be accessed at the following link: http://www.education.ky.gov/KDE/Instructional+Resources/Exc eptional+Children/Low+Incidence/Instructional+Planning+Tools .htm DO NOT SUBMIT IN THE AAAF IMPORTANT The AAAF is and should always be considered a secure, confidential document that houses confidential student information. The AAAF should not be considered a student working folder; as it will require some student work within, but not all daily assignments should be included. This PowerPoint will provide additional information to the specific contents and requirements for the AAAF.
