All subjects are taught in form classes except Chinese which is sett by language ability. It has been designed to fit our local Shanghai context as well as reflecting the needs and international nature of our students and staff. Students study a broad and balanced range of subjects that lays the foundation for future success in the IGCSE Programme. They will be formed according to the following criteria: • Gender balance • • • Nationality and ethnicity Potential behavioural clashes New enrolments First point of contact for students and parents is the Form Teacher • Responsible for student welfare • Friendly face first thing in the morning • Maintains an overview of student behaviour, progress and target-setting • Responsible for student administration (sharing information collecting reply slips etc.) • Presents the Life Skills programme • Will remain with the Form Group where possible G7-8 Periods Subjects G7-8: Subject SSIS schedules a five-day timetable with eight periods of lessons each day. Each period has a duration of 45 minutes.
