Quick Questions 快速提问
“We posted ‘How many presidents in your
lifetime?’ around election time. Patrons came in
and had to put a dot on the chart to vote. Even the
parents—were, wait a minute, I can’t just divide
my age by 4, because what if a president was 2
terms? … One mom said, ‘You’re 9, so how
many elections is that?’ The girl knew Bush, two
terms. She thought about it and said that’s two
4’s, that’s 8, so one more president from before
Bush, 2, and now Obama makes 3.”

个4年就是8年,那在布什之前还有一个总统,
加上现在的奥巴马,一共3个
