AP Courses
 By signing up for an AP Course, you understand that the rigor
and workload will be significantly greater than that of a
regular course.
 An AP course may not be dropped after the first day of class,
with the exception of extenuating circumstances.
 If you take the 1st half of an AP course, you may not drop the
course mid-year.
 If you sign up for an AP Course, you must take the AP exam
at the end of the year.
 Online AP Courses will only be offered for courses not offered
in the classroom at MAHS, or for major scheduling conflicts.
Online Courses
 Online courses are only utilized in the following
situations:
 Scheduling conflicts that interfere with graduation
requirements
 Courses not offered at MAHS in the classroom
 Credit recovery for a failed course
 Other special circumstances that will be determined on
a case-by-case basis.
*Please make a note on your Registration Guide if you
are in one of these situations and wish to take an online
course.*

Please fill out the sheets, and return
them signed by you and your parents
to your 2nd period teacher by Monday,
February 16th.
If the sheets are not returned by this
date, you may have to register late, and
you become at risk for not getting your
preferred classes.
