By having the correct combination of subjects Why is it a good idea? Subjects…..Required Vs Helpful For example you don't have to do any business subject to become an accountant…. But it would be very helpful you don’t have to do Engineering in the Leaving Certificate to become an engineer but it may be helpful. However Honours Maths and Physics are very helpful. (and often essential) Specific Subject Requirements Science: One or two science subjects depending on the course or university. Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Ag.
