PRESS RELEASE COMUNICATO STAMPA BANCA CARIGE ALLOCATES A TOTAL AMOUNT OF EUR 15 MLN TO SUPPORT FAMILIES AND BUSINESSES OF GENOA AND ITS PROVINCE HIT BY RECENT NATURAL DISASTERS Genoa 10 October 2014 – Following the exceptional surge of bad weather that hit Genoa and its province yesterday, Banca Carige has immediately resolved to allocate a total amount of Eur 15 mln, to economically support those who have suffered damage due to the violent storm that swept across Genoa in particular and its immediate hinterland. These loans will thereby be provided on particularly favourable terms and may be requested by families and businesses who have suffered damage. Furthermore, by way of exception, Banca Carige has decided not to apply any administrative fees or instalment collection charges on such loans. The loan eligibility procedures are streamlined: it will be sufficient to submit a self-certification of damage incurred, via a form available in all Banca Carige’s branches. After a quick creditworthiness assessment by the Bank, the loans will be available in a very short time. Banca Carige is committed to helping the areas that have suffered major damage to return to normal, by providing quick answers and applying favourable terms.
