ISR Grand Prix Event update
Dear Competitors,
We want to thank you for your registration for the Indoor Skydive Roosendaal Grand Prix 2014. This edition is
going to be bigger and better than last year. We accomplished to have 55 participating teams, from 8 different
countries. This event definitely is evolving to become another major international skydive event. And we are
proud to have you all in!
Besides the competition aspect, we want this event to be the meeting point of international skydivers and a
great day for all teams from all different levels.

Global Time Schedule
Because of the big number of entries, it’s important that we maintain a tight time schedule. That’s why we
want to ask you to always be available in time. Teams which ended their flight, are asked to leave the tunnel as
quick as possible, this to make sure the flow of teams will pass by smoothly. Employees of ISR will escort this
and during the competition briefing they will give you the exact routing. If teams don’t feel comfortable with
the routing, please contact gp@indoorskydive.com

Dutch Championship Indoor Skydiving
This year, the FAI/IPC accepted indoor skydiving as an official discipline and hosted its first world
championships in Austin beginning of the month, making a big step forward with the integration of windtunnel
competitions for skydivers.
The department parachuting of the KNVvL (the Dutch Skydiving federation) has followed this example and
granted the ISR Grand Prix to be the official Dutch Championship Indoor Skydiving. The title Dutch Champion
for the international IPC category (triple A) will be given to the team with the highest total score over all the
validated rounds. Furthermore, the winners in the dedicated NSL categories double A, single A and rookie. This
KNVvL championship will also be a selection competition for the IPC World Cup Indoor Skydiving 2015. In order
to be eligible in receiving the title Dutch Champion (triple A category) all team members should hold a valid
KNVvL FAI sportlicence.
Indoor Skydive Roosendaal is very proud that the ISR Grand Prix has grown into such a strong competition and
in receiving this acknowledgement from the KNVvL.
Practical information
Briefing
Please note that the competition briefing starts at 8.00 o’clock. Make sure you’ll be on time for that.
Competition briefing will be in the restaurant. After the briefing we’ll start with the warm up rounds right
away. Make sure you’re dressed in your skydive gear at the briefing.
Team Room
This year we have several teamrooms. On arrival we’ll tell you in what teamroom your team has been placed.
In the restaurant and hallways teams can creep and walk out the figures. At arrival you will get your
competition package (including the numbers which have to be placed on the helmets for jury recognition).
Teams must place their numbers before the warming up round on the helmets. Changing gear can be done in
restaurant The Swoop or in the locker rooms at the second floor.
Creepers
ISR sets 16 creepers available. If your team has own creepers, please bring those with you. We do have enough
availability in our building to creep, as long if it is not effecting the routing to enter or exit the tunnel or lead to
inconvenience for visitors during the day.
DVD
We don’t provide dvd’s anymore. You can videos will be put on your personal teampage during the
competition.
Special training rate
Do you want to train for the ISR Grand Prix 2014? Indoor Skydive Roosendaal offers all the competitors of the
ISR Grand Prix a special price for training: € 350,- for 30 minutes (excl. coach) in the week of the Grand Prix.
For Friday there are only a few more slots available. The exact time schedule for the Friday training will be
send to the teams in the beginning of the competition week.

Food & Beverage @ Restaurant The Swoop
This year Restaurant The Swoop has a special offer for all competitors. They offer a special ISR Grand Prix lunch
(lunchbox) AND dinner (buffet; pasta / sate / frites / salad) for only €22,50 p.p. at restaurant the Swoop. This
th
lunch and dinner is perfect for the tight time schedule of the competition. Registration is possible until the 22
of November (gp@indoorskydive.com).
If you haven’t take the food package please note that the restaurant has only a selected menu for that day.
Besides that, all teams will get access to their own team account at the bar (this will be the same as your team
number). On this account you can order food and drinks. We are very happy that they provide this option,
please be aware to pay the whole bill by your team captain at the end of the day.
Accommodation
This year we have 3 hotels which all made a special deal for the competitors.
1) Stayokay hostel Bergen op Zoom; hostel just 10 minutes by car from ISR, quietly situated in the forest
of Bergen op Zoom. Prices from € 20,- per person. They have also larger rooms (6 – 8 persons).
2) Golden Tulip Hotel de Reiskoffer: 4 star hotel, 10 minutes by car, situated in a small town. Prices from
€ 30,- per person. They can also provide rooms for 4 persons.
3) Hotel Bastion Roosendaal: 3 star hotel, 5 minutes by car, situated next to the highway. They can only
provide double rooms. Prices from € 37,50 p.p.
Reservations should be done directly by the hotels with the special reservation form. Without sending the form
they cannot give you this special price! If you have any questions about the hotels or the booking, please let us
know.
