Suffered with God
• Was anointed at young age to be a king.
But suffered many years before then.
• Spared Saul’s life two times, who tried
hard to kill him.
• Sought for God’s guidance in all the
troubles.
• In the end, was established as the king.
David was chosen to
serve on the side of
King Saul. He helped
Saul a lot. When
Saul’s mind got
trouble, David played
harp to keep Saul in
peace. David’s music
comforted Saul.
Once Philistines,
Israelites’ enemy,
attacked Israel and King
Saul’s army. A giant
called Goliath scared all
Israel soldiers, but
David bravely fought
Goliath and killed him.
David helped King Saul
and Israel army to have
victory over the
enemies.
But Saul became jealous of David.
He’s not thankful to what David did
for him. On the contrary, he wanted
to kill David, because he’s afraid
that David would replace him one
day.
King Saul was also killed
