BACKGROUND INFORMATION
背景信息
Location:- Coast region is located in the Eastern part of Tanzania Mainland,
between latitudes 6º and 8º south of equator and longitudes 37º30’ and 40º east
of Greenwich. It borders Dar es Salaam region and Indian ocean in the East,
Tanga region in the North, Lindi in South and Morogoro region in the West.
位置:滨海区位于坦赞尼亚大陆东部, 赤道南部南纬6°-8°之间，格林威治东部东
经37°30′和40°之间，东邻达累斯萨拉姆区和印度洋，北邻坦噶区，南邻林迪区
，西邻莫罗戈罗区。
Area:- Coast region occupies 33,539 sq km, 3.8% of Tanzania Mainland. 1,132
sq km equivalent to 3.4% is water and 32,407 sq km is mainland.
面积：滨海区占地33，539平方公里，占坦桑尼亚大陆面积的3.8%。其中，1，132
平方公里为水面，相当于大陆面积的3.4%，32，407平方公里为陆地。

Administration:- Administratively, Coast region is comprised of six (6) Districts,
namely Kibaha, Bagamoyo, Mafia, Mkuranga, Kisarawe and Rufiji, with seven (7)
Local Government Authoritie, namely Kibaha Town Council, Kibaha, Bagamoyo,
Mafia, Mkuranga, Kisarawe and Rufiji District Councils.
行政区划:滨海区由6个县组成, 即基巴哈县、巴加莫约县、马菲亚县、基萨拉韦县、
鲁菲吉县，有7个地方政府，即基巴哈市议会、基巴哈县议会、巴加莫约县议会、
马飞亚县议会、姆库兰加县议会、基萨拉韦县议会。
Population:- According to 2012 population census, the region has 1,098,668 people
with 2.4 % average growth rate per annum.
人口：按照2012年人口统计，该区有1，098，668人，年平均人口增长率
2.4%。

Climate, Soils and Topography:- The region experiences hot temperatures at
an average of 28ºC, 800 –1,000 mm of rainfall,
•with two rain seasons; short rains, (60 days), between October and December.
Long rains (120 days) between March and June. Topography, are mainly Coastal
belt (0 –100 m) above sea level with sand loamy and heavy clay soils; River
basins, found in Rufiji, Ruvu and Wami rivers with loamy clay, silt and alluvial
soils and Highland plateau, from 100 m and above, dominated by sand loam and
sandy clay soils.

有两个雨季，短雨季 （60天）出现在10月和12月之间。长雨季（120天）
出现在3月和6月之间。地形主要是海平面以上（0-100米）、具有沙质肥

（a） Place of investment—Kiwangwa Village in Bagamoyo District.

（c） Accessibility—Accessible all year round.
Raw materials—Available at Kiwangwa and neighboring villages (within 5 to 10
Kms) . Produce more than 160 tons of pineapple per year.
2.菠萝加工
（a）投资地点—巴加莫约县奇旺瓦村
（b）可用地—100英亩
（c）土地获得 —全年可以拿地。

3. Fish and other Marine Products
(a) Deep sea fishing in all districts bordering the Indian Ocean; Bagamoyo,
Mafia, Mkuranga and Rufiji Districts.
(b) Prawns farming in Mafia and River Rufiji Deltas.
(c) Processing of Fish and Marine products in the respective areas.
(d) Manufacturing of fishing gears.
3. 鱼及其它海产品
（a）在与印度洋相邻的所有县进行深海捕鱼：巴加莫约县、马菲亚县、
姆库兰加县、鲁
菲季县。

(c) Avenues for investment are: Portside Industry zone, Industry park on Agroprocessing, Leather processing, Cars/Tractors assembly, Minerals processing,
ICT and Textile industries.
