An exchange can be requested between 1 years to 46 days before you plan to

The names and country locations of your selected resorts (select a
minimum of 4 resorts/destinations to increase your chance of an early
confirmation)
A selection of dates on which you can travel
Flexibility is the key.
When you deposit your week in the space bank pool it is given a
value, known as its TRADING POWER
When you want to make an exchange, RCI tries to match your
Trading Power with a deposited week of a similar value
Trading Power is based on 5 factors:
• Demand for the week deposited
• Resort’s quality rating-feedback from RCI customers
• Accommodation size & privacy
• Holiday time band-the season
• How early the banking is done.
