The history of Boluda Corporación Marítima
began in 1920 when Vicente Boluda Marí
established a tugboat service company.
He passed his accomplishments and his passion
for the sea to his son, Vicente Boluda Crespo,
who assumed the responsibility for the family
business, launched and expanded its
geographical scope and activities in other ports.
During the 90s, at a very young age, Vicente
Boluda Fos took over the top responsibility at
company. He focused on the internationalization
and diversification of the company’s activities ,
transforming it into what it is nowadays: one of
the reference companies in world maritime
services across the coasts of Spain, Portugal,
France, Italy, West Africa, the Indian Ocean and
Latin America.

The main activity of Boluda Towage
and Salvage is focused on tug boat
services, essential for expediting the
flow of traffic in port facilities. This unit
occupies a leading position in the
national and international services,

This unit renders over 100 tug boat services every year to different types of
vessels, barges, pontoons, rigs, cargo ships and oil tankers.
Rescue and participation in fight against
contamination: Pioneers in salvage and
rescue services, we have collaborated in
Spanish Public Administration projects in
developing the Salvage and Anticontamination National Plan during several
years. Therefore, we have carried out
hundreds of salvage operations, using
vessels equipped with anti-contamination
and fire systems, as well as high-tech
communication devices.
Towage: transoceanic and deepsea
towage activities, away from ports, carrying
out transfers and anchoring of containers
of various sizes for construction purposes,
towage of floating dams, transport of
barges from the North of Europe to West
Africa and from Europe to America.

fuel supply and transfer, a strategic
