You must have your local FASC conduct start up and training prior to use. Please carefully coordinate the installation, check out and training. This must be accomplished in the proper order and immediately after one another. This is especially vital for replacement fryer installations. FASC start up and training must always occur on the same trip. 8 Henny Penny LOV Fryer Installation Responsibilities List Store Responsibilities: Continued 1) Coordinate the Fryer Check Out and Training with FASC prior to installation. 2) Notify and schedule RTI if the location is a bulk oil location. Note: RTI will require an additional two hours of prep time per fryer prior to the FASC check out. 3) Order Magnesol Filter pads to have on hand for training. Full Vat Controller The Full Vat controller provides an assigned product timer for left and right side Baskets that 16 share a common single Vat. Split Vat Controller The Split Vat controller provides a product timer for individual left and right side Vats. A Split Vat 17 can accommodate one basket. Heat Light LED The “heat light” LED’s light when the control calls for heat. 18 Number 1 Pushbutton The number one pushbutton is used to start and stop a Product cook cycle. It is also used to answer “Yes”. 19 Number 2 Pushbutton The number two pushbutton is used to start and stop a Product cook cycle. It also is used to 20 answer “No” to a prompt. Digital Display FR FRIES FLTR NOW The electronic control visually displays programming, product cook cycle, filtering, and other information and messages. 21 Power Button The power button turns the associated controller on or off. 22 Product Pushbutton Press a product button to select a specific product. 23 Temp Pushbutton Touch the “Temperature” pushbutton to view the 24 current oil temperature. Could be due to a failure of the 12-volt DC supply. 62 LVE Error Codes E-48 Inputs Failure - (very rare) E-54c - Temperature circuit input failure - very rare - amplified and unamplified temperature circuits do not agree. E-60 - Communications with AIF board have failed (*repeats every 4 hours -- see below) (AIF board dead? Cable unplugged? 1.5 volt fuse blown?) E-70C - Drain interlock jumper missing. We don't have a drain switch, so we should have a loop of wire in the wiring harness 63 to complete the interlock circuit. LVE Error Codes E-81 E-STOP button activated European units *do* have E-stop buttons. All other units should have a loop of wire in the connector on the AIF board where the E-Stop button used to be connected. (Same connector as drain pan sw) *E-18 and E-60: "Repeats every 4 hours": The E-18 (Level Sensor Failed) and E-60 (AIF Comm Failed) error messages can be cleared by pressing the checkmark button, and then normal fryer operation is allowed even if the fault condition continues. (Of course, auto-topoff and filtering functions would be unavailable.) 64 LVE Error Codes For ELEC fryers, heat-up time should be < 1:40 (1 min. 40 sec) For GAS fryers, heat-up time should be < 2:45 (2 min. 45 sec) For first slow heat-ups, error message is "E-21 RECOVERY FAULT" For two consecutive slow heat-ups, the error message is "E-21 RECOVERY FAULT CALL SERVICE". The user can press the Checkmark button to clear the error message, but the message will repeat every hour until a service tech clears it out in the Level 3 menu, or until the fryer executes a successful heat-up. 65 We are always adding new information to our Service Network, please visit for new information.
