Brief History

In 1956, in a small village of Evia island called ‘Politika’, Antonis Souliotis founded
a ready-to-eat meals family business. At that time, the company’s specialties were
vine leaves stuffed with rice and baked giant beans in tomato sauce.

Later, his sons Kostas and Vassilis transformed the company from a small family
business into the Greek leading company of ready-to-eat meals.

In 1989, begins the construction of the new modern factory which was completed
in 1992 and is fully operational since then.

In 1995, Palirria is the first ready-to-eat meals company in Greece that is certified
with ISO and later acquires the HACCP , BRC and IFS certificates

In 2000, Palirria Bulgaria L.T.D. a subsidiary company was founded.

In 2008, Palgreen Food Industries a subsidiary company in China was founded
Persistence in quality at all levels, traditional recipes, constant innovation and the use
of the most advanced technological equipment, have been the secret to success.
