Is there a message for the last days?
Revelation 7:1-3
After these things I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, on the sea, or on any tree.

2 Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea,

3 saying, “Do not hurt the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads .
In the last days God will send a special message to all the world that will place the seal of God on the foreheads of his servants.

What is a seal used for?
1 Kings 21:8
And she wrote letters in Ahab’s name, sealed them with his seal , and sent the letters to the elders and to the nobles who were dwelling in the city with
Naboth.

Every nation in the world has it’s seal.
The SEAL of any nation is the SIGN of its authority. The seal of God is the sign of the authority of Jehovah, the only true God and supreme ruler of all.

Why is Jehovah the only true God?
Psalms 121:2
My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.
The Lord Jehovah is identified as the only true God and ruler of all by the fact that He is Creator of all.

What sets the Lord apart from other gods?
Psalms 96:5
For all the gods of the peoples are idols , But the LORD made the heavens.
Only the CREATEOR of the heavens can be the true God. God alone has creative power.
None of the so-called gods of the heathen have any CREATIVE POWER.

What happens to false gods?
Jeremiah 10:10-12
But the LORD is the true God ; He is the living God and an everlasting King. At
His wrath the earth will tremble, And the nations will not be able to endure
His indignation.

11 Thus you shall say to them: “ The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth shall perish from the earth and from under these heavens.”
12 He has made the earth by His power, He has established the world by His wisdom,
And has stretched out the heavens at His discretion.

Those false gods are the gods that have not made the heaven and the earth, while the true and living God is manifest and established forever as the
One who made heaven and earth, Acts
14:15; Jonah 1:9.

Since the authority of Jehovah as the only true God and ruler of all is based on His creatorship, the SEAL of God must be THE SIGN OF GOD AS
CREATOR.

What is the sign between God and man?
Exodus 31:16-17
“Therefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath , to observe the
Sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant .

17 ‘It is a sign between Me and the children of Israel forever; for in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed .’”

God has appointed the seventh-day
Sabbath to stand as the SIGN OF HIS
CREATIVE POWER in making the world in six ordinary 24-hour days; therefore
THE SEVENTH-DAY SABBATH IS THE
SIGN OF GOD AS THE CREATOR.

Does the Sabbath represent more than just creatorship?
Exodus 31:13
“Speak also to the children of Israel, saying, ‘Surely My Sabbaths you shall keep, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am the LORD who sanctifies you .

Since it takes the same divine power to save man from sin as it did to create him in he beginning, the 7thday Sabbath, the sign of the Lord
Christ, as Creator of the world in six days, also becomes THE SIGN OF
THE LORD CHRIST AS MAN’S ONLY
SAVIOUR FROM SIN AND AS HIS
SANCTIFIER.

Since the seventh-day Sabbath is the sign of God as Creator and only true god, the only Saviour and Sanctifier, the SABBATH THEN MUST BE THE
SEAL OF THE LIVING GOD.

• Where can the seal of God be found?
• Exodus 20:11
• For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth , the sea, and all that in them, and rested the seventh day . Therefore the LORD blessed the
Sabbath day and hallowed it .

On a notary’s seal you will find three things: his name, his title as notary, and the territory where he is empowered to take acknowledgements. The fourth commandment is the only one of the
Ten Commandments which contains these three things in reference to
God.

In the Sabbath commandment we find:
(1) God’s name -- “Lord”
(2) His distinguishing title -“Lord” that
MADE heaven and the earth,
THE CREATOR
(3) The territory over which He rules – the heaven and the earth

Who is the only one who can sanctify?
Ezekiel 20:12
“Moreover I also gave them My
Sabbaths , to be a sign between them and Me, that they might know that I am the LORD who sanctifies them .

God gave the Sabbath to be His SIGN as the only true God and SANCTIFIER, so it must be the SEAL OF THE LIVING
GOD. The keeping of the seventh-day, instead of being opposed to God’s saving grace, is actually a SIGN OF HIS
SAVING GRACE AND SANCTIFYING
POWER.

How do we accept the Seal of God?
Ezekiel 20:20
“Hallow My Sabbaths , and they will be a sign between Me and you , that you may know that I am the LORD your God .’

The Sabbath becomes God’s sign or
SEAL upon you only as you actually hallow it in our life from week to week.
The SEAL is placed on the forehead.
The forehead represents the MIND.
When you REMEMBER the Sabbath to keep it holy (Ex. 20:8), that will put
God’s SIGN OR SEAL ON YOUR
FOREHEAD.

By keeping the 7th-day Sabbath we show that we worship the true God, who made the world in six days, and that we accept the power of that same
Lord Christ to save us from sin and sanctify us to His service. We thus restore His seal to his law, Isa. 8:16.

What sets the 144,000 apart?
Revelation 14:1
Then I looked, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand , having His Father’s name written on their foreheads .

The Father’s name is His character,
Ex. 34:5-7. Those who receive the seal of God on their forehead will be those who surrender all to do God’s will, so that their heart and mind will be brought into conformity to the character of God.

• What happens if you do not have the seal of God?
• Ezekiel 9:1-6
• Then He called out in my hearing with a loud voice, saying, “Let those who have charge over the city draw near, each with a deadly weapon in his hand.”

2 And suddenly six men came from the direction of the upper gate, which faces north, each with his battle-ax in his hand. One man among them was clothed with linen and had a writer’s inkhorn at his side . They went in and stood beside the bronze altar.

6 “Utterly slay old and young men, maidens and little children and women; but do not come near anyone on whom is the mark ; and begin at My sanctuary .” So they began with the elders who were before the temple.

When the last plague came on Egypt; the death of the first-born-- the only ones who were saved from that plague were those who had the MARK OF THE LORD on the doors of the houses; SO the only ones who will be protected from the seven last plagues will be those who have the SEAL
OF GOD ON THEIR FOREHEADS.
