“Quick Collimation” is a function that automatically searches for the center of the target
When Auto Pointing is performed, the image sensor on
the instruments detects the light beam reflected from
the target, the offset between the target and telescope
reticle is calculated by image processing, then the
angle measurement value obtained from the encoder is
compensated.

Easy to get on line without radio or hand signals
Provide the remote rod man with direction to approximately find the horizontal
line up to 150m without any stress..
This feature is extremely helpful during stakeout to quickly find line without
communication with the instrument man or for trying to find the horizontal
angle (line) when cutting brush for a traverse line.

Quick and easy Trigger Key
Is located on the right-had side of the total station. This allows
the instrument operator to easily and quickly press the Trigger
key right from the horizontal tangent to get a measurement.

Select "Rapid" when supporting prism pole by hand.
It can be performed even with slight instability of prism position or minor shifts of target position in the field-of-view.
“Fine” is recommended when a high level of measurement accuracy is required.
Make sure that the prism is securely mounted on a tripod. When using this setting when supporting the pole by hand,
hand movements will result in Auto pointing taking too long to complete and “Time out” error will occur.
(2) Search setting
Select “Search” for using Auto collimation function. “None” to switch off Auto Collimation.
(3) Turn
To set a tolerance range for setting accuracy when truing the instrument from the reference Angle to a Specified Angle

DS Power Drive Endless Screw has capability of setting High and Low 2 steps shifting speeds.
In Addition it is available to change switching point from low speed to High shifting speed.
This setting will realize customer friendly operability.
