IDAS™ Conventional IP Network is now available!
IDAS™ is the Icom’s digital land mobile radio system based on the NXDN™ common air interface and has complete
system components including handheld, mobile radios and repeaters. It has calling features including selective
calling, status messages, radio stun/kill/revive and GPS position reporting, etc,. The IDAS™ is ideal for business and
industry
users
who are thinking to migrate to a digital system and future narrow channel spacing
now.
The optional UC-FR5000 network controller will interconnect IDAS™ repeaters through an IP network. Up to 16
repeaters can be IP-interconnected in a system or even around the world. Ideal as a wide area network. When
connected to a PC, you can remotely maintain the repeater configuration from your PC. All IDAS™ conventional


 RC-FS10 Remote Communicator
• The RC-FS10 Remote Communicator creates
an IP-connected virtual radio on a Windows PC.
• The PC software will provide a minimum set of
programmable dispatcher console-like
functions as well as simple repeater control.
• The RC-FS10 consists of the CT-24 USB
VOCODER unit, the CT-23 desktop microphone
adapter, an AC adapter for the CT-23 and a
virtual radio Windows PC software.
