DMHRSi REPORTING ISSUES AND OBTAINING HELP Presented by Harold Cardenas 27 July 2010 AGENDA • • • • Account Requests Timecards Stuck in a Submitted Status/Locked All Other DMHRSi Related Issues Questions NO ACCESS FOR YOU • Request for Employee Self Service – – – – Requests for Employee Self-Service will be submitted directly to dmhrsiaccounts@tma.osd.mil by the Site Application Administrator (SAA) Request will only be accepted from employees who have the DMHRSi SAA role Requests must be submitted on the Account Request Template form dated 6/30/2010 DO NOT ADD ANYTHING TO THE FORM; ONLY SUBMIT THE INFORMATION REQUESTED • • Changing the form or adding information that is not requested will delay the request Request for one of the site’s LCA Timekeeper Specialist role(s) – – – – – Requests for LCA Timekeeper Specialist “MUST” be approved by MEPRS at the site before they are submitted Requests for LCA Timekeeper Specialist will be submitted directly to dmhrsiaccounts@tma.osd.mil by the Site Application Administrator (SAA) Request will only be accepted from employees who have the SAA role Requests must be submitted on the Account Request Template form dated 6/30/2010 DO NOT ADD ANYTHING TO THE FORM; ONLY SUBMIT THE INFORMATION REQUESTED • Changing the form or adding information that is not requested will delay the request • Requests for Army Timekeeper Manager, DMHRSi Timekeeper Manager, Army LCA Manager, Army LCA Specialist (All Sites) DMHRSi LCA Exceptions Manager • Request will be submitted via email to Elizabeth Arzola, Catherine Soto, MEPRS Army Func Spt and the site’s AMPO Analyst • Requests “MUST” be approved by MEPRS at the site before they are submitted and require Army MEPRS Program Office (AMPO) approval • AMPO will approve and complete the request within three working days • Request should be submitted via email • Request must include the employee’s DMHRSi user name and the role(s) requested • Request submitted directly to the dmhrsiaccounts@tma.osd.mil will be returned without action because they require AMPO approval Timecards Stuck in a Submitted Status/Locked • Timecards showing as locked should be submitted to AMPO immediately – – Request must be submitted via email to Elizabeth Arzola, Catherine Soto, MEPRS Army Func Spt and the site’s AMPO Analyst To verify that timecards are locked, go to: Army LCA Manager>Timekeeper:Timekeeper Entry>Enter employee name in the Person Name field>enter date in the Period field>click “Find”>click “Messages” located at the bottom of the screen>a message will appear that states the timecard is locked The error message reads: The current row is locked Cause: You are trying to lock a row in the &TABLE_NAME table which is currently being locked by another user. Action: Re-query and attempt to lock the row again. – Timecards Stuck in a Submitted Status/Locked • Timecards the site feels are “stuck in a submitted status” – – DO NOT submit a timecard as stuck in a submitted status unless it has been in a submitted status for five working days; you have verified that it is not in the Timecard Approver’s worklist To verify the date a timecard was submitted, go to: Army LCA Manager>Timekeeper:Timekeeper Entry>Enter employee name in the Person Name field>enter date in the Period field>click “Find”>click on “Help” located on the top tool bar>click on “Record History”; that will show updated by and date ALL OTHER DMHRSi RELATED ISSUES • Site staff experiencing problems with timecard entry – – – – – – – Site staff should first contract their Timekeeper Specialist/Timecard Approver If they are unable to resolve, Timekeeper Specialists/Timecard Approvers should contact MEPRS at the site 99.5% of the problems are training or data related and can be resolved without help desk assistance AMPO will assist with these and forward directly to Tier III if we are unable to resolve Sending these issue directly to the help desk will delay resolution as Tier III refers them back to AMPO Issues related to DMHRSi, that site MEPRS staff cannot resolve, should be forwarded to the site’s AMPO Analyst, Jeanie McCleary and MEPRS Army Func Spt Questions on man-hour coding should be forwarded to the sites’ AMPO Analyst and MEPRS Army Func Spt ALL OTHER DMHRSi RELATED ISSUES CONTINUED • MEPRS staff experiencing problems with timecard entry or MEPRS processes – 99.5% of the problems are training or data related, some require a system change – AMPO will assist with these and forward directly to Tier III if we are unable to resolve – Sending these issues directly to the help desk will delay resolution as Tier III refers them back to AMPO – MEPRS at the site should forward requests for DMHRSi assistance to the site’s AMPO Analyst, MEPRS Army Func Spt and Jeanie McCleary – Questions on man-hour coding should be forwarded to the site's AMPO Analyst and MEPRS Army Func Spt • Human Resources issues – Site Human Resources staff should forward requests for assistance to their Regional Human Resources POC – If you do not get resolution in a timely manner, forward the issue to Jeanie McCleary QUESTIONS??
