Upon arrival this evening, a Grand Circle
representative meets you at the airport and
helps you transfer to your hotel, where
you'll meet your Program Director and
fellow travelers, including those who have
just finished our optional pre-trip extension,
Big Five Bush Safari, South Africa.

Day 3 Johannesburg • Soweto • Apartheid
Museum. Begin your discoveries of South
Africa with an included tour of Soweto,
a former shantytown on the outskirts
of Johannesburg. Here, you'll visit the
Hector Pieterson Memorial and Apartheid
Museum, and enjoy lunch at a local
restaurant. Tonight, get to know your
fellow travelers during a Welcome Dinner
at your hotel.

Day 4 Johannesburg • Mpumalanga •
Kruger National Park. After breakfast, set

game drive • Optional Intimate African
Safari. After breakfast, you'll board a coach

African Safari, on which you'll get the
chance to go further afield -in an open-air

Upon your arrival, observe the artistic
techniques of Swazi glassblowers during a
visit to a local workshop. Tonight, enjoy

Today you'll enjoy a full day of a Swazi
Cultural Experience. After breakfast , gather

when you attend the Mbabane Craft
Market.
You'll also visit the Fontein Social Care
Center, supported by Grand Circle
Foundation- part of the World
Classroom initiative.
Then behold the artistry of local
candle-makers as they work their magic in
w a x - using an age-old process-at a Swazi
workshop.
After lunch at the workshop, you'll make
a short stop at the memorial built in honor
of King Sobuza, who brought Swaziland to
independence in 1968. Tonight, dinner will
be on your own.

Return to South Africa today, to the town
of Hluhluwe.

Game Reserve • Optional St. Lucia
Estuary tour. After breakfast, set off for a
game-viewing drive through the Hluhluwe
Umfolozi Game Reserve-the oldest park in
all of Africa. Be on the lookout for the "Big
Five" and the world's largest population
of white rhinos. Afterward, you'll have the
option to enjoy lunch while boating down
the St. Lucia Estuary, a UNESCO World
Heritage Site likened to a sub-tropical
paradise. Then return to your hotel for
leisure time until dinner is served.

journey to D u r b a n -Africa's largest

Farm. Journey inland today to Oudtshoorn.
You'll visit a working ostrich farm, where

Featherbed Bay. Today, you'll ferry across
Knysna Lagoon for an included tour of
