Where are we going?

What are you the most excited to
see/do on the trip?
Passports
• If you have not applied/received your
passport…panic now.
• Must have it on you at all times on the trip
– Required: money belt to hold Passport
Travel Dates
• Hoping for a July 6th departure
• We will email with updated travel
information as we get it from WorldStrides.
Medical Info
• Vital to have accurate info in case of
emergency.
• Please be sure to list any food allergies or food
preferences (ex. No fish!) – we will be
sending this list for meal preferences.
• If you require prescription medication, be
sure to bring copies of the script AND be sure
to bring enough meds with you!!!!
conduct
• This is our contract, not WorldStrides’s.
• We are representing LC.
• We’ve never had a problem in the past and
we don’t expect to have any issues.

Tipping
• Tipping is not included in the WorldStrides
price.
• We will need to tip our WorldStrides Guide,
the bus drivers, and hired tour guides.
• ~$150/traveler – will collect this later
– Any money not spent will be returned.
– Make checks payable to Theresa Meyer – will not
be cashed until early July.
– You will receive a receipt.
Credit Cards
• Credit card MUST have Visa or Mastercard
logo to work.
• Debit cards do not always work in Europe –
check with your bank.
• We have not had luck with rechargeable /
pre-paid credit cards.
• You are charged the exchange rate at the
time of purchase.
Currency Exchange
• 1 Euro = $1.13 USD – lowest rate it has been in
years!
• Credit cards automatically convert foreign funds on
bill. Remember, if you are using a prepaid card,
those funds were put on in dollars.
• $250.00 should be adequate for spending money.
Pays for food, souvenirs, extra attractions.
What Have You?
• Roommates – preferences?
• Never flown before? Need to sleep on way
there. Tylenol PM? Dramamine?
• Bus seats/time occupiers
• Phonecards to call home
• European insects can be mean!!! Bring bug
repellant!!!
What Have You?
• Leave your cell phones at HOME!
Disconnect and LEARN.
• We discourage bringing high value items
(IPad, jewelry, laptops, etc.)
• Do bring a camera – with extra memory
cards.
