Operations Update – since last CAC
Inlet Pressure Reduction project
A small modification to the plant was carried out to ensure that we continue to meet sales gas quality specifications
Project was commissioned in November. Noise emissions are maintained at previous level
The only change that the community may notice following completion of the project will be approximately two water trucks per week travelling to site during summer months.
The project provided some revenue to the local district during the construction phase and allows production to continue in to the future.
Offshore campaign
A short offshore campaign will commence on approximately 18 th December. This will comprise of a visual inspection of the Patricia Baleen pipeline and equipment. Grout bags will be placed at any areas where there has been erosion. This is a routine activity to monitor the condition of the pipeline.
The Surf Supporter will carry out the work which will be between the Patricia and Baleen wells through to the shoreline.
Consultation letters have been sent to affected persons.
Offshore campaign
Planning Scheme Amendment
Planning scheme amendment request to rezone the site to a
Special Use Zone was approved by Minister for Planning
Note that in the event that the gas plant undergoes any significant modifications, a new Works Approval Application would be required from the Environment Protection Authority
Extensive community consultation is part of the Works Approval process to ensure appropriate communication with all relevant parties
