The Bible teaches: “it is appointed for man to die once,
and after that the judgment.” God will repay according to
each one’s deeds.
(Heb 9:27, Rom 2:6). When the Lord returns, we want to
go into eternal life and not to eternal punishment. Thus,
we are not to live selfishly but be pleasing to God, so
that we can give and account to Him in due time. May
the Lord say to us : “When I was hungry, you fed me;
thirsty, you gave me a drink, I was a stranger and you
visited me.”

world and their splendor I will give you if you will bow
down and worship me.” How did the Lord overcome this

It is not the purpose to God to take away all of man’s
enjoyments in life. Rather, it is His will for all men to
enjoy abundant lives. It is Satan, our enemy, who wants
to steal and destroy lives. Therefore, we have to be firm
in believing that our God is a God of blessing.

world and love God at the same time. We
must abide in God’s love and make a
difference for the good of others.
