The ranks such as Deacon, Priest, and Bishop are given different symbolic gifts as a sign of their ordination. Gifts given to the deacon: A book of the gospel. Unlike The deacon, The stole is now Worn around the Neck and down his Chest. Gifts given to the bishop: This is a miter. It is a Tall-pointed Head-piece Worn by Bishops only. This is the ring Worn by bishops Only. It is a sign Of his fidelity to The church. This a crozier. It is given to Bishops during Ordination. It is The sign of a Bishop’s role as a Shepherd.
