LUKE 4:43= Jesus said “ I must preach the good news of the Kingdom of
God to the other towns also, because that is why I was sent.”
What is the good news? It is the Gospel, the message of salvation that no
other can give. It is Jesus Christ.
Why Life in the Spirit Seminar important?
Hosea 4:6= “ my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge.”
CHARISMATIC- It comes from 5 Greek words
1. Charism- means Gift
2. Charisma- means Gifted
3. Chara- means Joy of the Lord
4. Chare- means Grace
5. Chrisma- means Anointed
So CHARISMATIC- IS A GROUP OF PERSON THAT POSSESSED







IT IS THE FOUR BASIC TRUTHS IN THE BIBLE.
1. CREATION- GOD’S PLAN: GOD LOVES US AND WANTS US TO LIVE A
FULL AND HAPPY LIFE.
2. THE FALL- OUR PROBLEM: SIN, WE WERE SEPARATED FROM GOD
AND COULD NOT LIVE A FULL LIFE.
3. INCARNATION- GOD’S ANSWER: JESUS CHRIST. HE IS THE ONLY
ONE WHO CAN SAVE US AND GIVE US THE POWER TO LIVE THIS LIFE,
TO KNOW GOD’S LOVE AND SHARE THIS WITH OTHERS.
4. REDEMPTION- OUR RESPONSE: ACCEPTANCE: WE MUST ACCEPT THAT
JESUS CHRIST AS OUR LORD AND SAVIOR IN ORDER TO HAVE
POWER TO LIVE A NEW LIFE.
THERE ARE SEVEN TOPICS IN CLSS:

John 3:16 “ For God so loved the world that he gave his
one and only Son, that whoever believes in him
shall not perish but have eternal life.
I.
The Holy Scriptures tells us that God loves us, but
what do we really knows about God’s love? So as to
be able to say whether or not we are truly
experiencing it in our daily life?
II.
What kind of love does God have for us?
HUMAN LOVE- Reciprocal, conditional, temporaryI love you if…
GOD’S LOVE- unconditional, eternal, everlasting…
AGAPE
AGAPE – ONE WAY – Giving without receiving
- CONSTANT- Does not change
- EVERLASTING- No ends
HOW DO WE KNOW THAT GOD
LOVES US?





IT IS BY HIS PLAN IN GENESIS- Genesis1:27 “So God
created man in his own image, in the image of God he
created him; male and female he created them.
Genesis 1:28 “God blessed them and said to them, Be
fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it.
Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and
over every living creature that move on the ground.
Genesis 1:29 “ Then God said, “ I give you every seedbearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree
that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.
Genesis 1:30 “ and to all the beast of the earth and all the
birds of the air and all the creatures that move on the
ground everything that has the breath of life in it- I give
every green plant for food. And it was so.
Genesis 1:31 “ God saw all that he had made, and it was
very good. And there was evening, and there was morningthe sixth day.
GOD IS A PERFECT BEING
HE HAS EVERYTHING AND DOES NOT NEED ANYTHING. WHY?
He is perfect, infinite, Alpha and Omega- the beginning and the
end
MAN – created by God in his own image- perfect being- with intellect
(to know)- free will (to decide)

GIVE ILLUSTRATION: THE PERFECTION OF MAN that God created,
the part of the body is perfect in creation.
WHY WE ARE NOT EXPERIENCING THIS KIND OF LIFE TODAY?
The Bible says in John 10:10 “ The thief comes only to steal and
kill and destroy: I have come that they may have life, and have it
to the full.”
GOD- GAVE CONDITION TO MAN- Genesis 2:16 “ And the Lord God
commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the
garden; 17 but you must not eat of it you will surely die.”
THE FALL OF MAN

Man disobeyed the conditions of God and the result are:
self-centeredness
selfishness, pride, carnal…
RESULTED OF:
Spiritual death, physical death, sickness, problems…
DUE TO MAN’S AUTHORITY SURRENDERED TO SATAN,AND
GOD’S PLAN DISRUPTED.
BUT GOD DID NOT STOP BECAUSE HE LOVED US SO MUCH:
John 3:16 “ He gave the fruit of his love he is JESUS CHRIST
THE FRUIT OF HIS LOVE
JOHN 3:16



FOR GOD SO LOVE THE WORLD- God’s love is wide enough to embrace all person1TIMOTHY 2:4 “who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of
truth.”
HE GAVE HIS ONLY SON- His Son as an offering for our sin on the cross, this is the
atonement proceeds from the loving heart of God.- ROMANS 8:32 “He who did not
spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all- how will he not also, along with him,
graciously give us all things?
WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM1)A sure Conviction that JESUS CHRIST is God’s Son and the only Savior of
humanity,
2) Self Surrendering fellowship with obedience to CHRIST,
3) Trust in CHRIST that is both able and willing to bring you to final salvation.
. SHALL NOT PERISH- Points not to physical death but to dreadful reality of eternal
punishment MATTHEW 10:28” Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot
kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the ONE who can destroy both soul and body in
hell.”
. BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE- the gift that God bestow on us when we received JESUS
CHRIST.
. CONCLUSION- HOW GOD LOVED US – PERSONAL SHARING
TOPIC II SALVATION




COLOSSIANS 1:13-14 “For he has rescued us from the dominion of
darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, 14 in whom
we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.”
In John 3:16.. Said those who believes will not perish, but have Eternal
life= it means to save us in the punishment and to receive eternal life.
SALVATION = Not only means going to heaven, but it is a whole new way
of life on earth as well as enable man to participate in God’s plan, and to
have personal relationship with God and to live a full and happy life.
IN WHAT OUR GOD WANT US TO SAVE?
1. IN THE POWER OF SIN- ROMANS 5:12 “Therefore, just as sin
entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this
way death came to all men, because all sinned.”
2. IN THE PRESENCE OR BONDAGE OF SIN- John 8:34-35” Jesus
replied, I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. 35 Now a
slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it
forever.”
3. IN THE PENALTY OF SIN- ROMANS 6:23 “For the wages of sin is
death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
THE FALL OF MAN & THE
REBELLION AGAINST GOD
It was the reason why the great plan of God for mankind disrupted, and
brought about:
1. sickness & diseases
2. physical & spiritual death
3. famine & hunger
4. war & sufferings
IT WAS SATAN PLAN- JOHN 10:10.. To steal, kill & destroy

BUT GOD’S PLAN- IS LIFE & HAVE IT TO THE FULL.
MANS ANSWER:
Education, Science, technology, politics, militarization, different
forms of religion develop by men
BUT NONE OF THESE MAN MADE PLANS CAN SAVE US.
EPHESIANS 2:8-9 “For it is by grace you have been saved, through
faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so
that no one can boast.”
THAT’S WHY GOD SAID IN ZECHARIAH 4:6..”NOT BY MIGHT NOR BY POWER
, BUT BY MY SPIRIT SAYS THE LORD ALMIGHTY.”
GOD’S ANSWER
COLOSSIANS 1:13-14

HE RESCUED US- means delivered us from dominion of darknessthe power of Satan

BROUGHT US- into the kingdom of the Son he loves-JESUS
CHRIST
ROMANS 5:18-19” Consequently, just us the result of one
trespass was condemnation for all men, so also the result of one
act of righteousness was justification that brings life for all men.19
For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many will
be made righteous.
. ONLY THROUGH JESUS CHRIST- OUR SALVATION
LUKE 1:69 “ He has raised up horn of salvation for us in the house
of David…
LUKE 2:30 “For my eyes have seen your salvation,…
ACTS 4:12 “ Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no
other name under heaven given to men by which we must be
saved.”
CONDITIONS OF SALVATION

ROMANS 10:9
“That if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your
heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

ROMANS 3:23 “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

ROMANS 6:23 “ For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal
life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

REMEMBER THAT JESUS CHRIST OFFERED HIS LIFE ON THE CROSS.

1 PETER 2:24 “ He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that
we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have
been healed.”

PERSONAL SHARING- HOW GOD SAVE MY LIFE

TOPIC: NEW LIFE
John 10:10= “ The thief comes only to steal and kill and
destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it
to the full.”
I. What does new life means?= Because God loves us, He
does not only want us to know Him, but want us to have an
intimate personal relationship with him.”

New Life= is the fundamental teaching in our Christian life.

It means New Birth or Regeneration- John 3:3 “..I tell you
the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is
born again.”
 Why? Because life is Spirit- it means to change our inner
heart, or Spiritual Re-birth.
Ezekiel 11:19 “ I will give them an undivided heart and put
a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of
stone and give them a heart of flesh.”
Ezekiel 11:20 “ Then they will follow my decrees and be
careful to keep my laws. They will be my people, and I will
be their God.”
Ezekiel 11:21 “ But as for those whose hearts are devoted
to their vile images and detestable idols, I will bring down
on their own heads what they have done, declares the
Sovereign Lord.”

!!. HOW THIS NEW LIFE POSSIBLE IN
OUR LIVES TODAY?
2Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new
creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” V-18 “All this is
from God,…”

Anyone is In Christ – Not Out Christ he is a new creation.
III. GOD’S PROMISED?
He is a new creation- means to have a new life or new spirit
Matthew 9:16-17 “ No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an
old garment, for the patch will pull away from the garment,
making the tear worse. V-17 “ Neither do men pour new wine into
old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst, the wine will run out
and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new
wineskins, and both are preserved.”
This is through the creative command of God. 2 Cor.4:6 “ For God,
Who said “ Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in
our hearts to give us the light of knowledge of the glory of God in
the face of Christ.”
Those who accept Jesus Christ by faith are made new creation that
belongs to God which the Spirit rules." Romans 8:14 “because
those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.” Galatians
5:25 “ Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the
Spirit.” Ephesians 2:10 “For we are God’s workmanship, created
in Christ Jesus to do good works, Which God prepared in advance
for us to do.”

1V. BY ACCEPTING JESUS CHRIST IN
FAITH AND BAPTIZED IN THE HOLY
SPIRIT PERSONS BECOMES:
1. New creation or new person- Galatians 6:15”neither circumcision nor uncircumcision
means anything; what counts is a new creation.”
Colossians 3:10 “and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in
knowledge in the image of its Creator.”
2. Renewed after God’s Image- 2Cor.4:16”Therefore we do not lose heart. Though
outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.
1Cor. 15:49” And just as we have borne the likeness of the earthly man, so shall
we bear the likeness of the man from heaven.”
Ephesians 4:16 “From him the whole body, joined and held together by every
supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its
works.”
New life- Love- Interest- Future, Enjoyment
3. New understanding – not conforming to the world- !John 2:15-17”
4. Living a Life of Holiness- Ephesians 4: 24 “and to put on the new self, created to be
like God in true righteousness and holiness.”
5. New Destiny – Heaven- Philippians 3:19-20”Their destiny is destruction, their god
is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is on earthly things.”
From Satan- to God Jesus
Power of Satan – to Power of God
From Evil spirit – to Holy Spirit
That’s why the Bible said in 2Cor.5:17
PERSONAL SHARING
RECEIVING GOD’S GIFT





John 7:37-39 “On the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus
stood and said in a loud voice If any one is thirsty, let him come
to me and drink, Whoever believes in me as the scriptures has
said; streams of living water will flow from within him. By this he
meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were later to
receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given since Jesus
had not yet been glorified.”
RGG – is a topic that the purpose is to prepare us into the
Baptism with the Holy Spirit.
John 7:37 it is a great invitation “If anyone is thirsty Let him
come to me and drink.
V-38 “Whoever believes in me…streams of living water will flow
from within - means to wash our inner hearts.
WHY OUR HEART IS IMPORTANT?
IT IS THE THRONE OF GOD
ON EARTH



Jeremiah 17:9 “The heart is deceitful above
all things and beyond cure. Who can
understand it?”
Mark 7:21-23 “For from within, out of men’s
heart, come evil thoughts, sexual
immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed,
malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander,
arrogance and folly. All these evils come
from inside and make a man ‘unclean.”
Illustration: The Holy Spirit is visitor in our
Heart – He needs to be feel at home
THE PURPOSE OF RGG


To transform us – through the fruit
of the Holy Spirit Galatians
5:22 (read in the Bible) why
before we are fruitless
To Empower us – by the Holy Spirit
Acts 1:8 “But you will receive power
when the Holy Spirit comes on you;
and you will be my witnesses in
Jerusalem, and in all Judea and
Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
GIFT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
The gift of the Holy Spirit is the power of all Christians –
1 Corinthians 12:8-10 “Wisdom, Knowledge, Faith, Healing,
Miracles, Prophesy, Discernment, Tongues & Interpretation”
THE 3rd purpose of RGG is –

To Sanctify us – to be holy and remember that the Holy Spirit is
the Sanctifier
John 15:3-4 “You are already clean because of the word I have
spoken to you.” Remain in me and I will remain in you.”
1Peter 1:22-23 “Now that you have Purified yourselves by obeying
the truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one
another deeply, from the heart. Why? V23 – For you have been
born again not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the
living and enduring word of God.
1Peter 1:14-15 “As obedient children do not conform to the evil
desires you had when you lived in ignorance. But just as he who
called you is Holy so be holy in all you do for it is written “Be holy
because I am Holy.”
AMEN

BAPTISM IN THE HOLY
SPIRIT
Acts 1:5 “For John baptized with water, but in a few days, you will be
baptized with the Holy Spirit.”

One of the cardinal doctrines of the scripture is the Baptism in the
Holy Spirit. Why?
1.
It is intended for all who profess faith in Christ.
2.
It is one of Christ key goals in his earthly mission.
Matthew 3:11 “I baptized you with water for repentance. But after
me will come one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I
am not fit to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and
with fire.”

Baptism in the Holy Spirit – means to be filled with the Holy
Spirit, to have full life of Power and Anointing means the Holy
Spirit himself.

Baptism in the Holy Spirit bring the personal Boldness and power
o the Holy Spirit into believers life in order to accomplish mighty
works of Christ. Acts 1:8 You will receive Power….Mark 16:16-18
RESULT OF GENUINE
BAPTISM IN THE H.S.





Prophetic utterance and declaration of praise
Acts 2:4 “All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to
speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.”
Enhance sensitivity to sin that grieves the Holy Spirit
John 16:8 “When he comes, he will convict the world of guilt in
regard to sin and righteousness and judgement:
Life that bring glory to Jesus Christ
John 16:13 “But when he the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide
you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only
what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.”
Deeper love and understanding of God’s Word
John 16:13
Awareness and perfect relationship with God
Galatians 4:6 “because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of His
Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, Abba, Father.”
HOW WE RECEIVED BAPTISM
IN THE HOLY SPIRIT



We must admit the facts that we are sinner
Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of god.”
We must repent and ask for forgiveness
Acts 2:38 “
Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the
forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
We must accept and believe in Jesus Christ and make Him as your Lord,
Personal Saviour and God.
Romans 10:9 “That if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe
in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Surrender your life to Him, renounce everything ….Repent….Let God move in
us….
GROWTH &
TRANSFORMATION

John 15:1-7 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the
gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears
no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he
prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. You are
already clean because of the word I have spoken to
you. Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No
branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the
vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in
me. I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man
remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit;
apart from me you can do nothing. If anyone does not
remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away
and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into
the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my
words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it
will be given you.”
GROWTH &
TRANSFORMATION


To have this the New Testament
stresses the need for believers to
have Growth and be Transformed in
the image of Christ, and that means
to remain in the Lord Jesus Christ.
The reality of this close personal
relationship with Jesus Christ. It is
expressed in Obedience to his Word
and is essential to Growth and
Transformation.
Jesus Christ tells his disciples to
abide in Him


John 15:4-9 (our reading)
Matthew 24:10-13 “at that time many will turn away from faith
and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will
appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of
wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands
firm to the end will be saved.”
The New Testament writers exhort believers to abide in Christ. It
is the requirement in growth and Transformation.
Colossian 2:6 “So then just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord,
continue to live in him, strengthened in the faith as
you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.”
Colossian 3:1-3 “Since then, you have been raised with Christ, set
your hearts on things above, Christ is seated at the right hand of
God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For
you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.”
So in Growth & Transformation it is
very important about abiding in
Christ
Abiding in Christ – depends upon on holding Christ teachings.

1 John 2:24 “See that what you have heard from the beginning
remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in
the Father.”

HOW WE FOLLOW THIS CHRIST TEACHING AS ABIDING IN
CHRIST FOR OUR GROWTH & TRANSFORMATION
1.It depends on obedience to Him.
1 Sam. 15:22 “Obedience is better than sacrifice”
John 15:10 “If you obey my commands, you will remain in my
love. Just as I have obeyed my Father’s commands and remain
in his love.”
James 1:25 “But the man who looks intently into the perfect law
that gives freedom, and continues to do this not forgetting what
he has heard, but doing it – he will be blessed in what he does.”
2. It requires Living like Jesus.
Living like Jesus Christ
1 John 2:6 “Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus
did.”

G – go forward to God in prayer, it means your prayer life.

R – relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ it means your
fellowship with him.

O – others, means to Love your neighbour as your self it
means Service
 W – word of God it means to study the Bible
Joshua 1:8

T – transformation means to change the outside from
inside it will happen only when we trust Him
1Peter 5:7 “Cast all anxiety on him because he cares
for you.”

H – Holy Spirit to have faith in the Holy Spirit that He is
person and He is the only guide and teacher of all
Christians.
Finally: for Growth &
Transformation as abiding in Christ
3. it requires the Spirit’s Anointing
1John 2:27 “As for you, the anointing you received
from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone
to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about
all things and as the anointing is real, not counterfeit
– just as it is has taught you, remain in him.”
John 14:26 “But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom
the Father will send in my name, will teach you all
things and will remind you of everything I have said
to you.”
John 16:13 “But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes,
he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on
his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will
tell you what is yet to come.”
You are now Baptized by
emersion of the Holy Spirit

Why?
You are now immersed in the presence of the Holy Spirit
not in ordinary water but in the water of the Holy Spirit.
John 3:3 “I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom
of God unless he is born again.”
John 3:5 “I tell you the truth, no one can enter the
kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.”
Amen
“CONGRATULATIONS”
YOU ARE NOW TRULLY BORN OF GOD, A TRULLY BORN
AGAIN CATHOLIC CHRISTIAN.
MAY GOD BLESS US ALL…
