The Very Lazy Ladybug
By
Corey Valdivia
There once was a very lazy ladybug.
She slept all day and night.
One day she wanted to sleep
somewhere else, but she didn’t
know how to fly.
The next day she saw a monkey swing bye
and she jumped on to it.
She said,” I can’t sleep here, he likes to
swing to much.”
So when a tortoise walked by she jumped
on to him.
She said,“ I can’t sleep here he likes to lay
in the sun to much.”
So when a tiger walked by she jumped on
to the tiger.
She said,“ I can’t sleep here he likes to
roar too much.”
So when an alligator swam by she
jumped on to his tail.
She said,” I can’t sleep here he likes to
swish his tail too much. I’ll fall off.”
So when a bear came by, she jumped on to
his head.
She said,” I can’t sleep here he likes to
scratch his back and he’ll never stay still.”
So when an elephant walked by, she
jumped onto her trunk
When she thought she could sleep, the
elephant sneezed. The lazy ladybug now
knew how to fly, at last.
The End
